Instructions for Online Evals: Teaching Assistants
Basic Information:
Website: ieval.ucr.edu
Login: Webmail name and password
Timeline: The departments will enter TA information prior to week 6.
In week 8 of the quarter, all TAs will have access to the evaluation website. If the TA logs in, s/he will be able to see what class the system is listing for his/her name. If the class(es) listed is incorrect, please notify tadp@ucr.edu and your graduate assistant immediately.
The TA evaluation site will open on Monday of week 9 at 12:01 a.m. The site will close on the Sunday night following week 10 at 11:59 p.m.
TA evaluations can be accessed three to four weeks from the close of the evaluation window. (The date varies, depending on when the registrar reports grades.)
Troubleshooting: Pop Up Blockers
Internet Explorer
By default, pop-up blocking is enabled in Internet Explorer in the current version of Windows XP. To disable pop-up blocking in Internet Explorer:
- Click on the Tools menu
- Select Pop-up Blocker
- Select Turn Off Pop-up Blocker
Netscape (and variants = Opera, Mozilla, Firefox, etc.)
By default, pop-up blocking is enabled in the browser. To disable pop-up blocking:
- Click on the Edit menu
- Select Preferences
- Select either Pop Up Blocker or Privacy and Security.
Yahoo and Google Toolbars
Turn off the blocking on both the ieval.ucr.edu page and the evaluation "home" page.
Norton and other Antivirus software
Check for a "accept downloads from this website" option on the software's background program or browser toolbar.
Troubleshooting: Password not recognized
The password for the evaluation site is your webmail password. If you have password errors, you will need to reset the webmail password.
- Go to webmail.ucr.edu
- Go to "Help"
- Go to "Student Help"
- Go to "Click here to reset password"
- Reset your password
