Orientation

Orientation gives graduate students an overview of:

• Job responsibilities
• Pay
• Sexual harassment issues
• Introduction to campus organizations
• Preparation and presentation skills
• Problem solving
• Teaching techniques
• Diversity training
• Campus resourse training

Our focus is on UCR-specific policies and issues. Time is given for questions and answers.

Orientation is required of TAs in all departments. It is offered every fall during the first week of the quarter. Registration is available on the TADP home page beginning August 24th and ending after Fall Orientation.
